High Plains Kennel Club of Colorado - About The Club

High Plains
Kennel Club

High Plains Kennel Club (HPKC), in Douglas County Colorado, is an all-breed club licensed by the United Kennel Club (UKC).

Our members are dedicated to information and education regarding purebred dogs. HPKC furthers sportsmanship and competition in conformation, obedience and rally events held under the rules and requirements of the UKC. We hold two UKC-sanctioned all-breed or multi-breed shows every year, in June and November, and matches in conjunction with other dog clubs.

If you're interested in joining our club, please fill out the Membership Application

We are involved in our communities by participating in Meet the Breed exhibitions; Bark in the Park held in Aurora, Colorado, each September; and club booths in conjunction with other community and local events. In addition, we work to educate the public, especially children, in all aspects of dog care and dog interaction.

Please E-mail the Secretary (NO solicitations or advertising will be accepted at this email) for an updated meeting schedule.

Occasionally meetings are cancelled or moved due to show conflicts, so please contact a club officer or board member to confirm that an upcoming meeting will be held. Not only do we conduct club business and discuss/plan upcoming events, we also enjoy the camaraderie of each other and our common love of dogs.
